Advisor of the Year

NAIFA Fort Wayne honors an outstanding member of our Association based on nominations and fulfillment of the following criteria:

Nominees must be living, and actively engaged in one or more of the following:  life/health, mulit-line, investments, and/or the financial planning business.  He/She must be an active agent, general agent, manager, brokerage director, registered representative, or financial planner.

PRODUCTION:   25% of the selection will be based on these criteria.  Industry awards such as MDRT, NQA, NSAA, NMSA, HSQSA, and honors bestowed by other related professional organizations etc., may be considered, in recognition not only on the level of production, but also the quality of the sales/planning process and service delivered, as measured by persistency, etc.

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP:  Industry involvement will receive 25% of the consideration for this award.  Active membership in NAIFA-Fort Wayne is a requirement.  Other considerations are offices and committee chairs held locally and/or at the State or National level, other industry organizations involvement and recognition and efforts to expand NAIFA membership and advocacy.  No current NAIFA -Fort Wayne Executive Committee members are eligible.

EDUCATION:  Industry education accounts for 25% of the selection consideration.  This includes designations received or in progress such as CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, CFP, CPCU, CASL or any college degrees in the field of insurance, as well as efforts to educate others in related fields.  Client education and industry advocacy also may be considered.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Involvement in the community will be weighted 25% of the consideration for receiving this honor.  The nominee should show active involvement in his/her community above and beyond the call of duty, whether related to our field or otherwise.
